The 2009 graduation of HNAUB wittnessed dignitaries from all works of life, the ceremony which kicked off at about 11 am on the 25th of july 2009 started with procession of the graduants, all academic stafs, the vice chancellor(president) to the convocating ground as the order of events rolled off, despite the rainny season it was indeed a lovely sunny day as 69 students in their convocation gown were confirmed by the vice chancellor/ president as GRADUATES.
Amongs other dignitaries was the Doughter of KWAME NKRUMAH, DIRECTOR OF MOOV TELECOMMUNICATION REP OF BENIN, REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE AMERICAN EMBASSEY, EMIR FROM BAUCHI(NIGERIA), OBA OF PORT NOVO, SENATOR FROM KASTINA(NIGERIA), 1ST LADY OF KASTINA STATE(NIGERIA) HIGH COURT JUDGE FROM GHANA.
Honourary degrees were also given to some people on that day as the vice chancellor spoke about his plans for the school, as he said give HNAUB 5 more years and it will the envy of the world.
